由江苏省徐悲鸿研究会和南京师范大学联合主办,北京徐悲鸿纪念馆、《美术》杂志、《国画家》杂志协办的“新世纪首届徐悲鸿学术研讨会”于今年10月16至17日在南京隆重召开。徐悲鸿先生是我国20世纪杰出的美术家、美术教育家。他的创作思想、教育思想和艺术革新精神,对当时、现代和今后都发挥着巨大影响,他的人格力量与爱国热情更是成为一代楷模。徐悲鸿出生于江苏宜兴,又曾任南京中央大学美术系主任,前后在南京工作、任教18年之久。在任期间为美术教育和美术创作倾注了大量的心血。因此,在江苏举办徐悲鸿学术研讨会,不仅将徐悲鸿的研究推向一个新层面,这对于全面展望21世纪徐悲鸿的现实价值与意义,深化研究成果将产生积极的作用,而且也为江苏的文化建设,促进江苏乃至全国美术和美术教育事业的发展做出贡献。这次研讨会邀请了60多名全国各地的著名美术理论家和美术家。是一次高层次、高水平的学术研讨会。研讨会共收到国内外论文80余篇,会后这些论文将汇编成集由天津人民美术出版社出版。此前已有10余篇论文先后在《美术》、《国画家》,《美术研究》等杂志上发表。

Xu Beihong was born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and was once the director of Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Central University before and after working in Nanjing for 18 years. During his tenure, he devoted a great deal of effort to art education and art creation. Therefore, hosting Xu Beihong academic seminar in Jiangsu will not only push Xu Beihong’s research to a new level, which will have a positive effect on the overall value and significance of Xu Beihong in the 21st century and deepen the research results, but also for the cultural construction of Jiangsu Province , To promote the development of Jiangsu and even the fine arts and fine arts education in the country. The seminar invited more than 60 famous art theorists and artists from all over the country. It is a high-level, high-level academic seminar. The symposium received a total of 80 papers at home and abroad, after which these papers will be compiled into a collection published by Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. More than 10 papers have been published in magazines such as Fine Arts, Chinese Painters, Art Research and so on.
