Chlorophosphonazo III is a disazo derivative of chromotropic acid, which was synthesized in 1961 and used for photometric analysis after arsenazo III. It has been reported that it can be used for photometric determination of more than ten elements such as uranium, rare earth, thorium, plutonium, plutonium, titanium, calcium, magnesium, barium, strontium, scandium, zirconium and zinc.
