化学是一门以实验为基础的自然学科。它不但强调理论知识的学习,更注重实验能力的培养。而多媒体可以化静为动,化虚为实,化抽象为直观;同时,用多媒体辅助教学,能创设逼真的教学环境、动静结合的教学图象、生动活泼的教学气氛,充分调动学生的积极性;并且能够拓宽课本知识体系,拓宽教学的时间和空间,拓宽和加深课堂学习的内涵和外延。因而,随着素质教育的深入开展,多媒体技术在中学化学教学中越来越体现出其优越性。但不切合实际地滥用媒体,或使用不当,反而会影响教学效果。
