我国报纸的文学副刊勃兴于上世纪20年代,它承载了新文化运动的历史重任,一度成为提倡、传播新思想、新思潮的绿洲。此后,文学副刊以其思想性、知识性、情感性、审美性、休闲性见长,而长时期地成为广大读者的精神家园。曾经,一个优秀的文学副刊会成为一张报纸的品牌和标志;也曾经,文学副刊的编辑们对自身的工作充满了自豪感和神圣感。但是,自上世纪90年代后半期开始,文学副刊明显衰落,在受众方面,表现为读者和作者的锐减;在媒体方面,表现为文学副刊整体版面数量大幅减少,有些地方甚至取消了文学副刊版。面对这样的形势,文学副刊何去何从?报人们叹息着、担忧着,当然,他们更在思考着、探索着!
