目的了解天津市学龄期儿童腰围、臀围、腰臀比(WHR)水平及年龄、性别特征,分析其与身高、体质量及体质量指数(BM I)的关系,并探讨腰围与三酰甘油(TG)、胆固醇(TC)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL)及尿酸(UA)的关系。方法测量7 123名天津市学龄期儿童的身高、体质量、腰围、臀围,计算其WHR、BM I,记录各个年龄组男童和女童的腰围、臀围和WHR,通过两组独立样本资料的t检验分析各年龄组腰围、臀围和WHR的性别差异,并对各指标进行相关性分析。其中1 811名留取静脉血行TG、TC、HDL、LDL、UA检测。结果儿童的腰围和臀围均随年龄的增长而增长,且男童大于女童(Pa<0.05);男童WHR无明显变化,女童WHR随年龄增长而呈下降趋势,各年龄组男童大于女童(Pa<0.05);BM I均随年龄的增长而增长,各年龄组男童大于女童(Pa<0.05);腰围和臀围分别与年龄、身高和体质量呈正相关,WHR与体质量呈正相关(男童r=0.419,P<0.05;女童r=0.241,Pa<0.05),BM I与年龄、身高和体质量均呈正相关。腰围与TG、TC、LDL、UA呈正相关(r=0.076、0.098、0.137、0.401,Pa<0.05),与HDL呈负相关(r=-0.319,P<0.05)。结论天津市学龄期儿童腰围、臀围和BM I均与身高、体质量有关,WHR与体质量有关,腰围与TG、TC、HDL、LDL、UA有关。腰围及相关指标可作为儿童肥胖及相关疾病的预测指标。
Objective To understand the characteristics of waist circumference, hip circumference, waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) and age and sex in school-age children in Tianjin, and to analyze their relationship with height, body mass and body mass index (BMI) (TG), cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and uric acid (UA). Methods The height, body mass, waist circumference and hip circumference of 7 123 school-aged children in Tianjin were measured and their WHR and BM I were calculated. Waist circumference, hip circumference and WHR of boys and girls of all age groups were recorded. Two groups of independent sample data T-test analysis of gender differences in waist circumference, hip circumference and WHR in each age group, and correlation analysis of each index. Among them, 811 venous blood samples were taken for detection of TG, TC, HDL, LDL and UA. Results The waist circumference and hip circumference of children increased with the increase of age, and boys were more than girls (P <0.05). There was no significant change in WHR of boys and WHR of girls decreased with age, boys in each age group were more than girls (P <0.05). BM I increased with age, and boys in all age groups were more than girls (Pa). Waist circumference and hip circumference were positively correlated with age, height and body weight respectively. There was a positive correlation between WHR and body weight (Boys r = 0.419, P <0.05; girls r = 0.241, Pa <0.05). BM I was positively correlated with age, height and body weight. The waist circumference was positively correlated with TG, TC, LDL and UA (r = 0.076,0.098,0.137,0.401, Pa <0.05), but negatively correlated with HDL (r = -0.319, P <0.05). Conclusion The waist circumference, hip circumference and BM I of school-age children in Tianjin are related to height and body mass. WHR is related to body weight. Waist circumference is related to TG, TC, HDL, LDL and UA. Waist circumference and related indicators can be used as a predictor of childhood obesity and related diseases.
