我厂所用蒸汽自由锻锤的汽缸,均为灰口铸铁件。活塞环的材料为45号钢。使用几个大修期以后,汽缸逐渐磨损镗缸后尺寸加大,缸壁减薄到不能保证安全使用。我厂在大修500公斤和1000公斤自由锻锤时,更换了汽缸。这样,加大了修理工作量,增加了修理费用,延长了停修时间。我厂两台5吨自由锻锤,系桥式结构。其中一台锻锤的汽缸材质较好,但因制造至今已六十余年,已经多次大修,缸径已从670毫米增大到了10毫米。另一台锻锤的汽缸铸造材质较
