1.品种选择适于造薪炭林的灌木柳品种较多,目前生产中常用的主要品种有:粉枝柳、蒙古柳、江柳、卷边柳、绢柳、杞柳等。灌木柳的生物学特性虽然没有明显的差异,但是。生长在同一立地条件的不同品种,其生育状况和产量来看,确有显著差别 (图)。从墩株来看,平均以粉枝柳为100％,宽叶蒙古柳为(?)3％,卷边柳为104％,绢柳为114％。从重量来看,宽叶蒙古柳、卷边柳,绢柳分别为90％,74％,60％,粉枝柳产量最高 (表一)。
