March 18, 2015, the Eighth Sichuan Provincial Local History Working Conference was held in Chengdu. Alternate member of the CPC Central Committee, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, executive deputy head of the Chinese local history guide group Li Peilin, standing member of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor Zhong Mian attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting convened to learn the spirit of the Fifth National Conference on Local History Work, summarized the work of the past ten years, commended the advanced and exchanged experiences, and arranged the deployment of local history work in Sichuan province this year and in the future.
