1933年秋,中国工农红军取得了粉碎国民党军第四次“围剿”胜利之后,中央红军(即红军第一方面军)奉命在江西苏区永丰县藤田地区休整。为活跃部队的文体活动,也为纪念中国工农红军诞生6周年,中央红军决定举办一次全军性的体育运动会(亦称军史上第一次军运会)。这次盛大的体育运动会,由朱德总司令亲自担任总指挥、总裁判长。红军总政治部成立了大会筹备处,认真部署了体育运动会的指导思想、组织原则、比赛规模、内容、方法和比赛的时间、地点等事宜。
In the autumn of 1933, after the Chinese Workers ’and Peasants’ Red Army made the fourth crush victory over the Kuomintang army, the Central Red Army (the Red Army First Front Army) was ordered to rest in the Fujita area of Yongfeng County, Jiangsu Soviet Union. As an active force for cultural and sports activities, but also to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the birth of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants Red Army, the Central Red Army decided to hold a military sports meeting (also known as the first military history in military history). The grand sports meeting, Commander-in-Chief Zhu De himself as commander in chief, chief referee. General Political Department of the Red Army set up the General Assembly Preparatory Office, conscientiously deployed the guiding ideology of sports, organization principles, competition scale, content, methods and competition time, place and other matters.
