节水灌溉、早起垄早盖膜、起槽形或碟形垄、应用保水剂等烤烟旱作栽培技术措施都收到了一定成效。隔行灌溉能节水50%以上。早起垄早盖膜,配合起槽形或碟形垄,对旱区烤烟栽培效果明显。早起垄早盖膜产量比对照高85.5kg/hm2,产值比对照高930.15元/hm2,上等烟比对照高2.26个百分点。由于2003年降水比往年偏多,烟株在生长季节基本上没有遇到干旱,因此保水剂(高吸水树脂)效果不明显。
