走进位于北京东南的北神树垃圾填埋场,放眼望去是一片绿地。它和人们印象中臭气熏天的垃圾场迥然不同,这是北京首座垃圾生态填埋场。在这里,填埋场运用有机除臭剂定时除臭,沼气收集后用于发电,垃圾渗沥液处理后达到二级排放和农田灌溉水标准,变废为宝、绿色生态的理念在这里得到延伸。目前填埋场的用电、绿地浇灌、道路冲刷、降尘用水全部来自垃圾山。工作人员兴奋地介绍说,今年填埋场封场后,垃圾山会被建设成生态体育公园,到时候这里也会像郊野公园一样,鸟语花香、情趣怡然。
