以往,中国的美术家不太会包装自己、包装自己的孩子——美术作品。这一方面是秉承了淳厚的民族本性,不事声张,老老实实地用作品说话,一方面是以前的人们在工作中习惯干按部就班,顾及不到“包装”与推广。而今天的美术家们似乎又走上了另外一个极端——对自己包装过了头,包括展览的设计与推广。今天的美术展览,无论其规模是大是小,展品是油画、国画、版画还是水彩画,绝大多数都有一个豪华气派的开幕
In the past, Chinese artists were less likely to pack themselves and wrap their children - art. On the one hand, we uphold the simple and honest nature of our nation. We do our utmost to speak without words and actions. On the one hand, people used to work step by step in their work and can not cater for “packaging” and promotion. And today’s artists seem to have embarked on the other extreme - wrapping their packs too far, including designing and promoting exhibitions. Today’s fine arts exhibitions, no matter their size is big or small, exhibits are oil paintings, Chinese paintings, prints or watercolors, most have a luxurious style of opening
