Scopus和SCI利用引文数据为用户提供信息发现、信息导航和数据分析的工具,自Scopus提供服务开始,Scopus与SCI的比较分析一直在进行中。从两年被引频次、影响因子、刊均施引频次等数据指标入手,对两个数据库来源期刊进行学科之间期刊指标的对比分析。通过数据分析得到,在两个不同样本量下,自然科学领域的22个学科中,20个学科领域的期刊引用指标没有显著差异,说明了不同样本量下期刊表现的一致性。在Computer Science、Medicine两个学科中存在引用差异。分析其数据差异存在的原因,认为两个数据库论文数据的构成是期刊引用数据差异存在的可能因素,Scopus计算机领域的会议论文以及人文社会科学论文的存在,对期刊引用分布产生了影响,而这些数据的差异对核心期刊所产生的影响,有待于进一步分析研究。
