本文以山西省雁同电力调度数字光纤工程为基础,阐述了在电力调度系统中,开展光纤通信技术应用的研究和设计,文中以作者的工作经验,总结介绍了一种实用的设计原则和研究方式。在电力调度系统中应用光纤通信技术的研究和设计方式多种多样,视设计者的出发点而异,但千变万化,万变不离其宗,都应具有一般的光纤通信技术应用的共性,还应具有电力调度系统的特性,文章在设计原则及指导思想、方案的选择、关键技术问题中详细分析了这些共性和特性。重点在于解决电力调度系统的特性要求。此外,文章还概括介绍了雁同电力调度光纤通信系统方案和主要技术指标,以及系统的技术特点,并与国内外的同类性能的系统比较,指出雁同数字光纤电力调度系统在电力调度系统中具有普遍的推广意义,系统的建成,加速了电力现场推广应用光纤通信技术的过程,也促进了国内光纤通信技术应用的进一步开展。
