The mechanisms of cellular immunity in oral mucosal diseases such as oral lichen planus (OLP), recurrent aphthous ulcer (RAU) and oral candidiasis (DC) remain unclear. The authors examined the function of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) in 60 OLP, 40 RAU and 73 OC patients. 20 cases of healthy volunteers with the same age and sex as the control.
