Central precocious puberty (CPP) is one of the most common and complex problems in clinical pediatric endocrinology practice.Currently,CPP is believed to result from complex interactions between genetic, endocrinal, nutritional, and environmental factors. Most CPP cases are commonly associated with an early activation of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis followed by overproduction and release of GnRH from hypothalamus.
