bHLH是一类存在于真核生物中的转录因子家族,其成员广泛参与到植物生长发育及抗逆过程之中。但是,在棉花中有关bHLH基因功能的研究报道不多。以陆地棉为材料分离克隆了GhbHLH4基因并对其功能进行了初步分析。结果表明:GhbHLH4基因启动子中含有大量与抗逆相关的顺式作用元件;转GhbHLH4基因的拟南芥植株与野生型相比叶片宽大、根系发达,转GhbHLH4基因植株能够耐受150 mmol/L NaCl并完成整个生长过程。研究结果为深入了解GhbHLH4基因耐盐的分子机理奠定了基础。
bHLH is a family of transcription factors that exist in eukaryotes and whose members are widely involved in plant growth and development and resistance. However, there are few reports on the function of bHLH gene in cotton. GhbHLH4 gene was isolated and cloned from Gossypium hirsutum and its function was analyzed. The results showed that the GhbHLH4 gene promoter contained a large number of cis-acting elements involved in anti-retrogradation. Arabidopsis thaliana transgenic plants with GhbHLH4 gene were generous in leaf shape and root system, and transgenic plants with GhbHLH4 gene were able to tolerate 150 mmol / L NaCl and complete the entire growth process. The results laid a foundation for understanding the molecular mechanism of salt tolerance of GhbHLH4 gene.
