文化教学一直是初中英语教学中的重要课题,也是促进英语课堂教学多样化与思维化的主要途径。由于文化意识是语言组织与表达的内在思维逻辑,只有让学生增强对英语文化内涵的认知、扩展学生的英语文化知识、丰富学生的英语文化思维逻辑、强化学生的文化把控能力,将英语学习建立在对英语文化系统、细致、全面了解的基础上,才能更好地帮助学生完成对英语词汇、语法、表达习惯、文章含义等方面的理解与延伸,也才能实现初中英语教学对学生英语综合素质的要求。
