关于郑大华教授的《晚清思想史》,学界大部分前辈认为此书在许多方面为晚清时期思想史的研究做了有益的探索,也有部分学者就此书的一些内容及写法等提出不同的见解。笔者以为思想、文化与哲学的范围难以区分,总体而言,《晚清思想史》抓住了晚清思想发展的主流脉搏,勾画出了晚清思想发展的内在轨迹,对每一种思想都给予了较为公允的评价,虽不尽善尽美,但不失为一部思想史力作。
Regarding Professor Zheng Dahua’s “History of Late Qing Thought”, most of the scholars believe that this book has in many ways made useful explorations for the study of the history of thoughts in the late Qing Dynasty. Some scholars have also come up with different opinions on some of the contents and wording of this book . The author thinks that the range of thought, culture and philosophy is indistinguishable. Generally speaking, “Late Qing Thought History” grasped the main pulse of ideological development in late Qing Dynasty, outlined the inner track of ideological development in the late Qing Dynasty, Given a more fair evaluation, though not perfect, but after all, a masterpiece of ideological history.
