黄登保,1918年出生在福建省厦门市一个华侨家庭。1935年他漂洋过海到菲律宾谋生。1937年加入抗日敌后援会,后经党组织安排回国。1938年到延安参加八路军,同年加入中国共产党。他历任八路军炮兵团排长、连长,延安炮兵学校队长,炮兵团长、师参谋长、副师长,军事学院炮兵系副主任,炮兵学院训练部部长,军委炮兵技术部副部长,炮兵司令部副参谋长,炮兵副司令员,总参谋部炮兵部顾问等职。为中国人民的解放事业和我军炮兵的革命化、现代化、正规化建设建立了功勋。
Huang Dengbao was born in 1918 in Xiamen, Fujian Province, an overseas Chinese family. In 1935 he crossed the sea to the Philippines to make a living. In 1937 joined the anti-Japanese enemy support organization, after the party organization arranged to return. In 1938 to Yan’an to participate in the Eighth Route Army, the same year to join the Chinese Communist Party. He served as platoon leader of the Eighth Route Army artillery regiment, commander of Yan’an artillery school, head of artillery unit, division chief of staff, deputy commander, deputy director of artillery department of military academy, minister of training department of artillery academy, deputy minister of military artillery technology department, artillery commander Deputy chief of staff, artillery deputy commander, artillery general staff consultant and other staff. It has contributed to the liberation of the Chinese people and the revolutionization, modernization and standardization of our artillery.
