自主学习是指以学生作为学习的主体,通过学生独立地分析、探索、实践、质疑、创造等实现教学目标的学习方式。自主学习能力是学生在学习活动中表现出来的一种综合能力。有了一定的自主学习能力的学生就不再是被动接受知识的机器,而是用科学的方法主动探求知识、敢于质疑问难、个性充分发展的学习的主人。如何培养学生的自主学习能力呢?这需要教师经常启发、点拨和引导学生,长期地、有计划地对学生进行培养。2011版的《全日制义务教育语文课程标准》提出:
