一、科技档案教育的建立与科技档案管理学的萌芽新中国科技档案教育从创办至今已有30多年了,它萌芽于1955年。中国人民大学档案专修科(班)成立不久,迎来我国国民经济第一个五年计划时期。随着各项工程建设上马和工业生产的发展,形成了大批有价值的技术文件材料。为了使这些宝贵的技术财富得到妥善的保管,以备日后生产、建设、科研、查考的需要。当时档案专修科开设了技术档案管理方面的课程,为学员们讲授有关技术档案管理的知识。当时这门课程的名称为《技术档案管理与组织》,最初采用的教材是由中国人民大学档案专修科翻译的《苏联档案工作的理论和实践——技术档案部分》、《苏联技术和影片照片录音文件档案馆——技术文件与技术档案室》、《技术文件的整理与保管问题的材料》(均为油印本)等。为配合教学,还编辑了《档案参考资料——技术档案部分》。不久又建立了技术实验室。当时科技档案教育的特点主要表现为学习和借鉴苏联的经验。

In line with teaching, but also edited the “File Reference - Technical Archives.” Soon established a technical laboratory. At that time, the characteristics of science and technology archives education mainly manifested in learning and drawing lessons from the Soviet experience.
