电影《嚎叫》是根据美国“垮掉一代”的代表诗人艾伦·金斯伯格的生平及其同名长诗改编的。它突破了一般传记电影的叙事模式,以具体的诗歌文本为主要素材,因而影片带有双重性质,既是诗人传记电影,又是诗歌批评电影。本文从叙事视角、叙事时间、叙事空间三个角度切入,分析导演在电影中如何运用独特的叙事策略来解读诗人金斯伯格及其作品。 The movie Howl was adapted from the life of the famous poet Alan Ginsberg in the United States and the poem “Beat the Generation” and his long poem of the same name. It breaks through the narrative mode of general biographical cinema and uses specific poetry texts as the main material. Therefore, the film has the dual nature of both biographical poetic poem and poetic criticism. This article attempts to analyze the director’s unique narrative strategy in interpreting the poet Ginsburg and his works from three perspectives: narrative perspective, narrative time and narrative space.
