公用电话有两种:投币式和磁卡式。前者广泛使用在我国城乡,后者已在深圳、大连等地开通。磁卡电话使用时,用户只要购买一张名片大小的磁卡(面值有25、50和100三种)将其插入磁卡电话机中,便可打国际、国内长途直拨电话和市内电话。随着通话的进行,电话机会自动将通话费从磁卡标定的金额中扣除,磁卡中剩余的金额可继续使用。
There are two types of payphones: coin and magnetic cards. The former is widely used in urban and rural areas in our country, the latter has been opened in Shenzhen, Dalian and other places. When using the magnetic card telephone, users can insert international and domestic long-distance direct dial telephone and local telephone by simply purchasing a name card-sized magnetic card (three denominations of 25, 50 and 100) into the magnetic card telephone. As the call proceeds, the phone automatically deducts the call charge from the amount demarcated by the magnetic card, and the remaining amount in the magnetic card can continue to be used.
