Objective: To detect the expression of platelet-derived growth factor D (PDGF-D) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and to explore their roles and significance in cervical carcinogenesis. To explore the pathogenesis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma Mechanism and early treatment of cervical squamous cell carcinoma provide a theoretical basis. Methods: The expressions of PDGF-D and VEGF protein in 40 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma and 10 cases of normal cervical tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry (SP method), and the correlation between them and the clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed . Results: The expression of PDGF-D and VEGF in cervical squamous cell carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissues (P <0.05). The expressions of PDGF-D and VEGF were correlated with the differentiation and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05) ; Unrelated to age and clinical stage (P> 0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the expression of PDGF-D and VEGF (r = 0.346, P <0.05). Conclusions: 1.PDGF-D and VEGF are highly expressed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which may play an important role in the occurrence, development and metastasis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. The expression of PDGF-D and VEGF is correlated with the differentiation of cervical squamous cell carcinoma and lymph node metastasis, but not with the age and clinical stage, suggesting that they may have important monitoring significance in the infiltration, metastasis and prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. The positive correlation between the expression of PDGF-D and VEGF in cervical squamous cell carcinoma suggests that the two play a role in promoting each other. The combined examination of PDGF-D and VEGF provides a reference for clinical practice.
