天津发电设备厂于1974年从武汉重型机床厂购置了一台C534J型立式车床,其最大加工直径为3.4米。1975年,该厂根据加工需要,将这台立车改为简易数控车床。由于简易数控立车的控制装置采用分离元件,可靠性差,加上电液脉冲马达本身的缺陷,使简易数控立车在加工时,经常出现丢步、扎刀等故障,影响了工件加工质量。为提高机床运行的可靠性,保证零件的加工精度,经可行性分析后,该厂于1985年决定用微机系统对简易数控立车进行
