高职高专英语教学目的是:经过180-220学时的教学,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的听,说,读,写,译的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为今后进一步提高英语的交际能力打下基础。本文作者对高职高专学生英语应用能力水平进行了一些探讨,对高职英语应用能力等级考试提出了可行的改进意见。
The purpose of English teaching in higher vocational colleges is to enable students to acquire certain basic English knowledge and skills after 180-220 hours of instruction and have certain ability of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating so that they can read and translate through the dictionary For English business information, conduct simple verbal and written communication in the daily activities and business activities of foreign-related communication and lay the foundation for further improvement of communicative competence in English in the future. The author of this paper makes some discussions on the English proficiency of students in higher vocational colleges and puts forward some feasible suggestions for improving the English proficiency test of higher vocational colleges.
