一九八六年三月二十日,日本丹麦体操研究会一行十五人,在团长、神户女子大学教授、日本丹麦体操研究会会长外园一人先生的率领下,应哈尔滨工业大学、哈尔滨体育学院的邀请,到中国讲学.外园一人先生,研究会理事、神户女子大学讲师佐滕仁先生,以及研究会理事、大阪府立阿部野高校教谕横山志津子女士等,已致力于研究、推广、辅导丹麦体操多年.他们不但继承了作为现代体操重要流派之一的丹麦体操的优良传统,而且还开拓和发展了丹麦体操.并创立了以健身、健美、保健、防病为主体的新丹麦体操系统、科学的理论.他们本次在哈尔滨体育学院讲授和示范的“爵士健身操”及其辅助性体操,编排科学巧妙,动作舒展大方,只须演练其中一套,便使人有身心为之一爽之感.由此可见,“爵士健身操”在日本本土方兴未艾,也势将在中国掀起浪潮之说,所言不谬.这一切,本刊记者在哈尔滨体育学院体操馆讲学现场两天的实地采访中,在参加讲习会的哈尔滨数千名专业业余体育工作者的高昂情绪中,均得到充分验证.由于天气的原因,日本朋友在途中晏了一天.但他们不顾旅途疲劳,下飞机后只稍事休息即进行讲学及示范,令中国同仁们感慨万千.事后,本刊接到许多各地有心者的来函来电,询问该会及“爵士健身操”的诸多问题.为满足本刊读者的要求,我们特编发外园先生答本刊记者问一稿.
