中国民族区域自治是中国民族关系的产物 ,它是民族关系的区域自治 ,中国历史和民族国情奠定了它的基础。中国各民族自古以来就是地区上相互交叉 ,经济文化上相互影响 ,政治和人口上相互渗透 ,中国历史进程中的无数事实证明了这一点。与此同时 ,中国民族区域自治又是民族权利的区域自治 ,马克思主义者的主张和我们党和国家长期的探索和实践证明了这一点。
Regional autonomy of China is a product of the relations among the peoples in China. It is the regional autonomy of ethnic relations and laid the foundation for its history and national conditions. Since ancient times, all ethnic groups in China have been interlaced in their respective regions, with their economic and cultural influences, their mutual penetration of politics and population. This is evidenced by numerous facts in the course of China’s history. At the same time, the regional autonomy of China’s ethnic minorities is also a regional autonomy of ethnic rights. This is evidenced by the Marxist claims and long-term exploration and practice by our Party and our country.
