通过傅里叶变换从新的角度考察了光学非均匀单向纤维增强复合材料的偏振光学行为,发现其光强I-方位角θ曲线主要仅由不多于三种基波组成,它们是零次(常量)、二次和四次基波。研究结果表明:四次基波的模与主应力差有很好的相关性,在所进行的实验条件下,四次基波的模都按正弦平方曲线规律随主应力差的增减而单调变化;并发现四次基波的初相角α_(,)与双折射方向一致。在此基础上提出了复会材料双折射率,△Nc的概念。这一结果不仅对进一步认识纤维复合材料的复杂偏振光学现象可能有意义,而且也可能具有工程应用价值。
The polarization optical behavior of optical inhomogeneous unidirectional fiber-reinforced composites was investigated by Fourier transform from a new point of view. It was found that the optical intensity I-azimuth θ curve mainly consisted of no more than three fundamental waves, which were zero-order (Constant), second and fourth fundamental wave. The results show that there is a good correlation between the modes of the four fundamental waves and the principal stress. Under the experimental conditions, the modes of the four fundamental waves are monotone with the increase or decrease of the principal stress according to the regularity of the sine curve It is found that the initial phase angle α_ (,) of the fourth fundamental wave is consistent with the birefringence direction. On the basis of this, the concept of birefringence and △ Nc is proposed. This result may not only be useful for further understanding the complex polarized optical phenomena of fiber composites, but also may have engineering application value.
