It has been 50 years since the Eighth National People’s Congress of the Chinese Communist Party held in September 1956 has had a profound impact on our party’s history. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, academics have made multi-angle studies on the 8th National Congress of the CPC and made gratifying progress. Especially in the past ten years, the research has been more comprehensive and in-depth with many achievements. This article is intended to outline the major achievements of the eight major Chinese Communist Party (CCP) research projects in the past decade.
