在观看足球比赛时可以常常发现,当裁判员判罚某队点球时,即使是世界第一门将,也难以把对方射来的点球守住。原因在哪里呢? 罚球点至球门线的距离为11米,球从主罚点球运动员脚下飞进球门,只需0.1秒的时间;而守门员从看到来球做出扑救动作的过程,则需0.2～0.3秒的反应时间。因此,很难扑住点球。所以有些老练的守门员往往利用一些假动作来迷惑对方,或者干脆根据自己的主观判断孤注一掷。这就是人们常常看到守门员在扑救点球时,往往扑向无球一方的缘故。当然,在一般情况下,守门员守不住点球,是不会受到人们责怪的。
