“全国十佳少先队员”是当代中国少年儿童的最高荣誉之一。13岁的外来工子女、浙江慈溪市观海卫镇爱心小学六年级学生程晓琴,荣获第九届“全国十佳少先队员”称号。2004年10月,她在北京接受团中央、全国少工委的表彰。她是浙江省2004年唯一获此殊荣的少先队员,也是“十佳”中唯一一名外来工子女。
“Top Ten Young Pioneers in China” is one of the highest honors of contemporary Chinese children. Cheng Xiaoqin, a 13-year-old migrant worker and a sixth-grade student of Love Primary School in Guanhaiwei Town, Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, won the title of “Ninth National Young Pioneers” in the Ninth National People’s Congress. In October 2004, she accepted the recognition of CYL Central Committee and the National Youth Work Committee in Beijing. She is the only Young Pioneer in Zhejiang Province that won this award in 2004 and is the only migrant child in the “Top Ten”.
