江苏省从2000开始,实行初中英语口语等级测试和听力测试,然而在以前的考试中,听力与口试是分开进行的,手段较原始且有风险,所以从2009年考试,江苏省的中考实行英语听力口语自动化考试,才用人机对话形式进行测试。考试时间在每年初三下学期进行。满分30分,共五类大题。(1)听对话回答问题(10分);(2)听对话和短文答题(10分);(3)朗读短文(3分);(4)情景问答(2分);(5)话题简述(5分)。
