我国水产科技工作者在总结群众先进经验的基础上,将池塘养鱼综合技术概括为“水、种、饵、密、混、轮、防、管”的八字精养法,其中“轮”即轮捕轮放,就是“一次放足、分期扦捕、捕大留小”的操作制度。轮捕(一年中分数批将达到食用规格的成体捕出)新技术的运用,是水产养殖高产量和高效益的一条重要技术措施。
