介绍了为东风汽车公司研制的活塞自动分选打字机的CAT系统及其软硬件原理。该仪器是与由美国引进的康明斯生产线配套的高精度测试仪器，用于测量活塞3个断面的大径尺寸，并根据测量结果打印相应字样。该仪器的测量精度为1．5μm，并具有微机控制、中文显示、数据处理和故障自然功能。
This paper introduces CAT system and its software and hardware principle of piston automatic sort typewriter developed by Dongfeng Motor Company. The instrument is imported from the United States Cummins production line supporting the high-precision test equipment used to measure the three major sections of the piston diameter size, and print the corresponding words based on measurement results. The instrument’s measurement accuracy of 1.5μm, and a microcomputer control, Chinese display, data processing and fault natural features.
