通过运用Malmquist生产率指数方法对长三角地区20个制造业行业1998-2007年的全要素生产率增长及其技术效率和技术进步指数进行测算,并对两省一市制造业行业的生产率增长及其分解从地区和行业两个层面进行比较分析,结果发现,长三角及其两省一市制造业行业的全要素生产率增长主要是由技术进步带来的,技术效率水平并不高;两省一市之间全要素生产率变化指数从高到低排列为江苏、上海、浙江。地区内部行业之间的比较显示,上海制造业行业间全要素生产率变化指数差异最大,其次为江苏,浙江行业间的差异最小。由此表明,长三角制造业要实现持续不断的增长,除了提高技术进步之外,关键是要改善技术效率水平。
By using the Malmquist productivity index method, the total factor productivity growth, technical efficiency and technological progress index of 20 manufacturing industries in the Yangtze River Delta from 1998 to 2007 are measured, and the productivity growth and decomposition of the manufacturing industries in two provinces and one city are analyzed A comparative analysis on the two levels of regions and industries shows that the total factor productivity growth of the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta and its two provinces and one city is mainly caused by technological progress and the technical efficiency is not high. The index of change of TFP between high and low is ranked as Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang. The comparison among the industries within the region shows that the difference between the indices of total factor productivity in manufacturing industry in Shanghai is the largest, followed by that in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. This shows that the Yangtze River Delta manufacturing industry to achieve sustained growth, in addition to improving technological progress, the key is to improve the technical efficiency.
