Historically, the union movement in Latin America has played an important role in the economic and political life of all countries. With the gradual deepening of democratization in the 1980s, various mass movements, including trade unions, have been on the rise again. However, the unbalanced development of intra-office trade union organizations in Latin America and their internal splittism are still serious problems that the Latin American union movement is facing at the moment. At the same time, the severe economic crisis and tightening policies universally adopted by various governments have weakened the power of trade union organizations, reduced the political influence of trade union organizations and the number of their advocates, and become increasingly unfavorable in the relationship with employers and the government Position. However, the future social development of Latin American countries is still inseparable from the active participation of trade union organizations.
