万应止痛膏是一种尚未正式投产的新药。由生川乌、生草乌等中药组成。方中生川乌、生草乌均含有乌头类生物碱。现代药理研究表明乌头碱有镇痛、抗炎等作用,还刺激局部皮肤,产生搔痒与灼热感,甚则麻醉、丧失知觉等,故很有必要测定药贴中乌头类总生物碱的含量。乌头碱(Aconite alkaloids)属于二元酯类生物碱,易溶于氯仿、乙醇,难溶于水,对生物碱显色剂显色,紫外吸收光谱λ_(max)~(EtoH)(logε)230nm(4.16),275nm(3.07)。
