大部分英语教师在教授生单词时普遍采用传统的词汇教学模式,即:自读—跟读—纠错—记忆。这种模式主要依赖学生的主观能动性,但长此以往,势必会让学生失去兴趣,加上学生水平不尽相同,这种教学模式也不利于学困生的学习,学生的主观能动性也会被削弱,畏难情绪和成就感的缺失终会导致学生学习效果的下降。因此,英语教师要大胆创新,努力转变这种模式。
Most English teachers generally adopt the traditional vocabulary teaching mode when teaching students’ words, that is, self-read-follow-read-error correction-memory. This model relies mainly on the subjective initiative of students. However, over the long term, it is bound to make students lose interest and the level of students varies. This mode of teaching is not conducive to the learning of students with learning difficulties. Students’ subjective initiative will also be weakened, Fear of lack of emotional sense of accomplishment and eventually lead to the decline in student learning. Therefore, English teachers should boldly innovate and strive to change this model.
