钢窗具有美观、敞亮、坚固耐用等优点。大力发展钢窗,以钢代木,减少木材消耗,是建材工业的发展方向。生产钢窗、门的主要工序是内外框架焊接。常用的焊接方法有两种,一种是手工电弧焊,一种是闪光对焊。前者只适应小批量生产,工效低,消耗大批焊条,成本较高,产品也不够美观和整洁。采用对焊是一种较为理想的工艺。我厂采用的是由UN150型150千瓦直线对焊机改制成的设备。改装过程中主要是将直线对焊改成90°角对焊;卡料由手动改为气动;进给和顶锻也改成气动和油缸调速。电气方面则更改了控制电路。常用的直线对焊机的电气特性和焊接参
