This article describes the preparation of standard samples for electron probe analysis of alloys. Including: (1) Alloy material melting method. (2) Determination of alloy material composition. (3) alloy standard sample production method. (4) Standard test methods for alloy uniformity and stability. (5) Procedure to automatically test the uniformity and stability of standard samples with a computer. (6) developed several kinds of alloy standard samples and some of the test data. (7) Standard sample protection and repair methods.
