上海交大首届少年班入学不久,校方曾请上海师大教育研究所教师对全体学生(26名)进行韦氏智商测试,其中智商(IQ)总分值在97至141之间。全班IQ 值最高的 W 智商达141,次高的 Y 达140。但在学习中,W 和 Y 成绩一直起伏不定,从未达到拔尖的程度,甚至 W 在第五期还出现了两门课程考试挂“红灯”的现象。相反,全班 IQ 最低的学生 Z,在全校高等数学竞赛中进入前6名,并通过全校数学、物理、英语3科统一竞争考试,综合平时学习成绩,荣获上海交大“优异生”的称号,获此称号者仅占交大学生的1%。
Shortly after the enrollment of the first juvenile class in Shanghai Jiaotong University, the school instructed teachers of Shanghai Normal University Institute of Education to conduct a Wechsler IQ test on all students (26), with an IQ score of 97 to 141. The W IQ with the highest IQ value in the whole class reached 141 and the next highest Y reached 140. However, during the study, W and Y scores have fluctuated and never reached the top. Even the fifth of the five examinations showed “red light”. On the contrary, Z, the lowest IQ student in the whole class, entered the top 6 in the advanced mathematics competitions of the whole school and passed the 3-unit unified competition exams in mathematics, physics and English of the whole school to synthesize his usual academic records and won the title of “Outstanding Student” This title is only 1% of National Chiao Tung University students.
