临床上具体的放射性物质在人体内的存在,其位置可深可浅;可近中心,也可偏离中心;其强度可大可小。在这变化万千的情况中,截面扫描是否可以反映人体内放射性分布的真实情况?其可靠性和重复性又如何?什么是应用截面扫描的最佳条件?为此设计了一些实验,如放射源深度位置不同时对峰值的影响和放射源中心偏离度不同时对峰值的影响,以此观察位于体内不同位置、不同强度的放射源对峰值的影响。另外还设计了一些验证性实验,如深度和偏离度综合验证性实验及强度加倍时综合验证性实验,以此测定截面扫描的可靠性和重复性,为正确解释和应用截面扫描于临床打下基础。
