21世纪中国油气资源是“贫”还是“富”?围绕着这一问题而引发的诸如技术进步、重点突破、开拓国际等问题,又该怎样解决或引起人们的关注和重视?“中国石油论坛”于5月9日至10日在京举行“21世纪中国石油天然气资源专题战略研讨会”,与会的国家政府官员、石油石化界的老领导和一些资深专家及代表共66人就此话题开展了广泛而热烈的研讨,作出了全面的评价与展望——中国油气资源不是贫乏而是富有,但说富有不是代表已有,形势依然严峻,必须利用科技进步才能使我们再进步;必须抓住重点有力出击;必须利用“两种市场、两个资源”和适当进口、建立战略储备,必须大力发展天然气和注意维护我国海洋油气资源的权益;必须充分调动我们国家的企业的一切积极因素……这样,最终才能变“富有”为“已有”,我国21世纪油气工业可持续发展的崭新局面就一定会到来。
