英语不只是一门培养学生语言应用能力的学科。在开展英语教学的过程中,教师同样肩负着向学生渗透中西文化并以此促进学生英语运用能力提升的任务。因此,高中英语教师在日常教学中应该提高文化渗透的意识,改进教学方法以提高文化渗透的效率。本文从文化渗透的具体策略谈起,以人教版高中英语教材为例,探讨了英语教学中如何有效渗透中西文化。
English is not just a discipline that cultivates students’ language proficiency. In the process of carrying out English teaching, teachers also shoulder the task of infiltrating Chinese and Western cultures to students and promoting their ability to use English. Therefore, senior high school English teachers should raise awareness of cultural infiltration in daily teaching and improve their teaching methods so as to enhance the efficiency of cultural infiltration. This article starts from the concrete strategy of cultural infiltration, and takes the PEP textbook as an example to explore how to effectively penetrate Chinese and Western cultures in English teaching.
