大型企业生产经营规模大、机构和人员多、内外事务杂,居于中心地位的总经理责任重大。他们的时间一般被认为是宝贵的资源。企业效率的高低在很大程度上是由总经理的工作效率决定的。讲求时间管理艺术同追求最大利润一样值得重视。现实中,不少大型企业经理工作时间过长,从上班开始忙到下班,晚上回家时还疲惫不堪地带着公文包,在家工作到深夜。假期、休息与他无缘。即使这样,他们还感到时间不够用,还有很多问题没有时间处理。
