本文评述了锰对蠕墨铸铁的金相组织与机械性能的影响。锰不能改变蠕虫状石墨的形态,但从显微组织来看,它能促使蠕铁中形成珠光体与碳化物。同时,蠕墨铸铁的金相组织对断面比较敏感。不管锰量多少,当截面尺寸减少时,球状石墨都增加。此外,蠕墨铸铁的结构使机械性能受到限制。由于锰能促使铸件中生成珠光体,从而在显微结构范围内可提高强度,降低延伸率。同时,由于锰的存在,使加工性能大为降低。
This paper reviews the effect of manganese on the microstructure and mechanical properties of vermicular graphite iron. Manganese does not change the morphology of wormlike graphite, but microscopically it promotes pearlite and carbides in vermicular iron. At the same time, vermicular cast iron microstructure is sensitive to the cross section. Regardless of the amount of manganese, spherical graphite increases as the cross-sectional dimensions decrease. In addition, the structure of compacted graphite cast iron has limited mechanical properties. Because manganese can promote the formation of pearlite in the castings, the strength and the elongation can be increased in the microstructure range. At the same time, due to the presence of manganese, processing performance is greatly reduced.
