植物体内含有极微量的生长调节物质,它对植物的生理过程,生长、分化、开花、成熟、休眠、脱落、衰老等都有调节控制作用。这些在植物体内起重要调节作用的微量活性物质,我们称它为植物激素,又称内源激素。随着化学工业的进步,应用有机合成的方法合成类似于植物激素化学结构的有机化合物,把它施用于植物上,也同样能够起到类似的调节作用,有的生理活性甚至高过相应的植物激素。
Plants contain trace amounts of growth regulators, which regulate and control plant physiological processes, growth, differentiation, flowering, maturation, dormancy, shedding and aging. These micro-active substances play an important regulatory role in the plant body, we call it a plant hormone, also known as endogenous hormones. With the progress of the chemical industry, organic compounds similar to the chemical structure of plant hormones are synthesized by the method of organic synthesis. When applied to plants, they can also play a similar regulatory role, and some of the physiological activities are even higher than those of the corresponding plants hormone.
