虽然以往一些论著已经注意到“教养”这一说法的出现与上古中国庠序中的“养老”有关联,但对这“养老”的具体内涵的解释却并不准确。文章对“养老”的内涵重新作了分辨,并进而考察了先秦儒家在春秋战国之际对“教养”内涵的改造,从而找出了“教养”之所以后来与人的人格修养关联在一起的人文逻辑线索。通过对“教养”原意的追溯,论文揭示了先秦儒家教化的独特品格与其对于人的生命成全的重大意义。
Although some previous works have noticed that the emergence of the term “education” is related to “old-age” in ancient China’s preface, the explanation of the specific meaning of this “old-age pension” is not accurate. The article re-analyzes the connotation of “old-age care ”, and then examines the transformation of the connotation of “parenting ” by Confucianism in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, so as to find out the reason why “ Humanistic Clues Related to Personality Training. By tracing the original meaning of ”education", the dissertation reveals the unique character of pre-Qin Confucianism and its great significance for human achievement.
